This really doesn’t read like someone with experience in the EHR space some of what you’re saying makes sense but it is also very generalized. You go after specialization as a boogie man but in reality that specialization allows for faster and in some cases much safer usage. Just because you think something is slow doesn’t mean there isn’t a reason for it to be there. Seat belts are slow and annoying to put on but that doesn’t mean we need to get rid of them, but you would rightly get annoyed if every time you sat in a chair you needed to put on a seat belt on and specialization is the only way to get both of these things. I would be interested in seeing what you’ve come up with but in order to fully utilize the opportunities that an EHR provides not just for doctor usage but for patient safety I think you may find yourselves going down a similar path when your product starts picking up steam.
